Next we decided to write our own legend involving Kupe, Kupe's wife, the warriors and the octopus.I decided to do the waka with the octopus swimming underneath the waka with maori patterns in the background. We all did this on a A3 piece of blank paper. What I think I did well is making the background colours work in with the waka and the patterns.
What I think I did bad is choosing to colour in with pastel.
What I would do better next time is filling in the blank spots in the picture. :)
